I’ve had a lot of fun doing my PhD with FIND. The CDT’s events have put me in contact with a lot of incredibly knowledgeable people that have helped me to develop skills needed in both academia and industry. Through Warwick University I have had lots of opportunity to get involved with other projects including working with industrial partners and doing outreach in schools.

The guidance I have received during my EngD has been second to none. The opportunity to work with academics with so much experience and contacts has been so helpful.
Naomi Shipway, Imperial College London
The scheme gave me a solid foundation of essential transferable skills whilst granting me the responsibility, freedom and flexibility I needed to develop my own interests and pursue my own goals.
Highlights would be the variety of small projects I have had the opportunity to be involved in as part of my university research group. Also being part of the RR EngD network committee.
Don Pieris, University of Nottingham
I feel very fortunate to have been surrounded by exceptional people throughout my career. Every day is a school day!
